One of the city’s most notable landmarks is the Baščaršija district, a lively Ottoman-era bazaar where you can experience Sarajevo’s rich cultural heritage. The Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, an architectural gem from the 16th century, stands as a testament to the city’s Ottoman past. Sarajevo also holds significant historical importance, being the site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914, an event that ignited World War I. Your adventure begins with a panoramic tour, offering a sweeping view of Sarajevo’s main sites and squares. As we continue, we’ll dive deeper into the heart of the city with a walking tour through the iconic Baščaršija district, the cultural soul of Sarajevo. We’ll start at Baščaršija Square, home to the famous Sebilj fountain, and share the fascinating history behind this landmark.

Next, we’ll stroll down Kazandžiluk, the old Coppersmith’s Street, where you can soak in the lovely atmosphere of traditional crafts. Along the way, we’ll pass by the historic Vijećnica, the burned library that stands as a symbol of Sarajevo’s resilience. You’ll learn about the two fortresses, the Yellow and White Bastions, which tell tales of Sarajevo’s past defenses.

Our walk continues to the notable bridges of Sarajevo, including the Šeher-Ćehaja Bridge and the Latin Bridge, where one of history’s most pivotal moments took place – the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, an event that triggered World War I.

As we venture through the city, we’ll visit the Imperial Mosque, the stunning Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, and the Clock Tower, each with its own captivating story. Introduction to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia. Today we will have a 3-4 hour city tour where we will see how this city lives. City tour will start at 4 PM.

Let’s visit Mostar, a city set along the Neretva River, surrounded by the stunning Velež Mountain. Next, we explore Blagaj, famous for the 16th-century Dervish monastery, the Blagaj Tekke, which sits at the source of the crystal-clear Buna River. The serene setting and tranquil atmosphere make Blagaj an ideal spot to connect with nature and explore the region’s rich cultural heritage.

Today we will explore a part of Herzegovina located south of Sarajevo, with its largest city, Mostar. The Old Bazaar and the Old Bridge will take us back several centuries. There is also the beautiful spring of the Buna River, with a tekke standing majestically above the spring. The price of this trip is $130 per person, which includes all entrance fees and guided tours, and the minimum number of participants for the tour to take place is 2.
