DAY 0: ARRIVAL TO BELGRADE

DAY 1: CITY TOUR, PANORAMIC & ON FOOT
Begin your Belgrade adventure with a panoramic sightseeing tour, taking in the main squares and iconic landmarks that shape this vibrant capital. Our journey starts at the grand Temple of St. Sava, the world’s largest Orthodox Christian church, where you’ll marvel at its stunning architecture and spiritual significance. We’ll then glide through Slavija Square, before heading to the political heart of the city—home to the National Parliament and the Old Royal Court. On the way, hear fascinating stories of Belgrade’s past, including the city’s liberation from Ottoman rule, all while taking in the imposing Monument of Prince Mihailo in Republic Square. Stroll along Knez Mihailova, the city’s historic pedestrian street, and discover the hidden masonic symbols tucked into its ornate architecture. Recharge with a coffee break at Belgrade’s oldest tavern, before continuing your exploration.
Next, step back in time as we visit Belgrade Fortress and the lush Kalemegdan Park, where the city was born over two millennia ago. Wander through ancient ramparts and gateways, with the scent of history in the air. From ancient Celts and Romans to the Medieval struggles for freedom, the fortress is a living testament to Belgrade’s turbulent past. Marvel at the St. Petka Chapel and Rose Church, each holding captivating legends of the city’s early days. As we stroll, absorb the breathtaking views over the confluence of the Sava and Danube Rivers, where the city’s soul comes alive. To round off the day, we’ll embark on a scenic river cruise, taking in Belgrade’s skyline from the water. Our day concludes with a visit to the historic Zemun district, once a separate city, where charming cobbled streets lead us to Gardoš Tower, offering a panoramic view of Belgrade from above.
DAY 2: NOVI SAD, PETROVARADIN, SREMSKI KARLOVCI - OPTIONAL
Head to Novi Sad, the cultural gem of Serbia’s northern province, Vojvodina. Known as the “Serbian Athens,” the city boasts charming streets, stunning architecture, and a rich cultural heritage. Explore Liberty Square and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of this historic city.
Next, we visit Sremski Karlovci, a quaint town steeped in Serbian history. Stroll through its picturesque streets and learn about its importance in Serbian culture. Finally, we’ll explore Petrovaradin Fortress, a historic stronghold with sweeping views of Novi Sad and the Danube, while hearing tales of epic battles between two great empires. DAY 3: TOPOLA & OPLENAC - OPTIONAL
Situated in the heart of Šumadija, the town of Topola is a testament to Serbia’s rich history and the fierce spirit of its people. This charming destination, surrounded by picturesque vineyards and orchards, played a pivotal role in the nation’s fight for freedom. As we stroll through Rebels Town, you’ll learn about its crucial place in Serbian history and visit the Church of St. George, a stunning mausoleum dedicated to the Karadjordjević royal family. End the day with a wine-tasting experience, savoring some of the finest wines from the region, celebrated for their exceptional quality.
DAY 4: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE
