DAY 0: ARRIVAL TO BELGRADE
Arrival to Belgrade. Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to hotel.
DAY 1: BELGRADE
Welcome to Belgrade, the vibrant heart of the Balkans! Begin your journey with an immersive introduction to this dynamic city, where ancient history and modern life coexist seamlessly. Embark on a panoramic and walking tour that uncovers layers of history dating back thousands of years. Discover iconic landmarks such as the grand Saint Sava Temple, the bustling Knez Mihailova Street, and the imposing Kalemegdan Fortress, where breathtaking views of the Sava and Danube rivers await. DAY 2: MT. ZLATIBOR
Let’s continue our journey westward to explore the stunning natural and cultural treasures of Serbia. Marvel at the breathtaking Ovčar-Kablar Gorge, where the meandering rivers carve their way through dramatic landscapes. Continue to the charming village of Zlakusa, renowned for its traditional pottery-making techniques that have been passed down through generations. Watch local artisans craft masterpieces and gain insight into this timeless art. Then, venture into the majestic Potpeć Cave, with its impressive entrance—one of the largest in the Balkans—and captivating underground chambers. End the day with a relaxing stay on the serene slopes of Mt Zlatibor, the perfect retreat for rest and rejuvenation.
DAY 3: MT. TARA
Start the day by immersing yourself in the rustic charm of Mt. Zlatibor. Visit the enchanting Sirogojno Open-Air Museum, where traditional wooden houses bring the region’s past to life. Marvel at the ethereal beauty of Stopića Cave, with its cascading underground waterfalls and striking limestone formations. Continue your journey to the stunning landscapes of Mt. Tara, a national park known for its pristine nature and breathtaking views. Enjoy an unforgettable train ride on the famous Šargan Eight, weaving through alpine slopes and picturesque valleys. Conclude the day at Mećavnik, the largest Ethno complex in Southeast Europe, where you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the traditions and stories of Serbia’s highlanders.
DAY 4: MT. DURMITOR
Embark on a serene boat ride through the stunning Uvac Canyon, where you’ll spot the impressive Griffon vultures, a symbol of the region’s wildlife. Afterward, head to the Mileševa Monastery, a spiritual site known for its famous White Angel fresco. Continue your journey by crossing the awe-inspiring Tara River Canyon, the deepest in Europe. Finally, reach the stunning heights of Mt. Durmitor, where you’ll immerse yourself in its alpine landscapes and crystal-clear glacial lakes.
DAY 5: BIOGRADSKA GORA, MT. LOVĆEN, BUDVA
Continue your adventure with a visit to the enchanting Biogradska Gora, one of Europe’s last remaining primeval forests. Here, you’ll be surrounded by towering trees, peaceful lakes, and diverse wildlife in its most natural form. Afterward, we head to the ancient Morača Monastery, steeped in history and known for its stunning frescoes that influenced the Renaissance period. The journey continues with breathtaking views of Skadar Lake, where you’ll have a chance to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. Then, we will climb to the top of Mt. Lovćen, offering panoramic vistas over the entire region, before concluding the day in the royal city of Cetinje, Montenegro’s cultural heart. Your day ends with check-in at your hotel, ready for rest.
